So there is a new show called BAPS on Lifetime. While the original movie BAPS was about two young ladies growing up in the hood, struggling to make it big and finally landing wealth, this show is strictly about “Bougie” blacks being born in wealth. 

“The project blacks, the Good Times blacks, we don’t relate to that…we’re the Cosby blacks!”

“I don’t know anything about government cheese and gold chains, I’ve never worn gold chains in my life
